Today, the Mumbai traffic police have issued an advisory for Durga idol immersion, Dussehra 2023 rallies, and South Africa vs. Bangladesh World Cup match. All these are happening today because of that a large amount of the crowd in Mumbai is going to go out of their house so to control the crowd more than 15,000 police personnel have been deployed. It has been officially announced that Shiv Sena and the rival group which is led by the former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray are going to hold many Dusshera rallies at Azad Maidan and Shivaji Park. Today the ruling Shiv Sena will be holding their Dussehra rallies at the Azad Maidan and Shivaji Park on 24 October 2023, Tuesday. Today, the traffic police of Mumbai has officially issued a traffic advisory for the Dussehra rallies. And also they have placed some restrictions on Durga idol immersion and the ICC World Cup 2023 match which is between Bangladesh and South Africa. As per the statement by Mumbai Police, it has been said that more than 15,000 Mumbai police personnel are going to be on duty at the Dussehra rallies of rival Shiv Sena groups, Goddess Durga immersion, and the World Cup 2023 match. Of those police personnel, there are 12,449 lower-ranking personnel, 2,496 officers, 16 deputy commissioners, 45 assistant commission of police, and half a dozen additional commissioners of the city.

Despite 15,000 police personnel, 33 State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) platoons, Home Guards, and Quick Response Teams have also been mobilized for duty for the multiple events in the metropolis. According to the source, at the Sena UBT rally in Shivaji Park there are no vehicles are allowed on some roads including The SVS Raod from the Siddhivinayak Mandir Junction to Kapad Bazar Junction from Raja Badhe Chowk junction to Dadar Keluskar Marg (North) junction, Mahim Lt. Dilip Gupte Road Junction on Pandurang Naik Marg for Southbound traffic, Dadasaheb Rege Road from Senapati Bapat Statue to Gadkari Junction, and Gadkari Chowk junction to Dadar Keluskar Road (South).

In some areas of Dadar parking is not allowed and those areas are Keluskar Road (North and South), SVS Raod, MB Raut Road, LJ Road, Rajabade Junction, NC Kelkar Marg, Lt. Dilip Gupte Marg, Dadasaheb Rege Marg, Gadkari Junction. MB Raut Road, and Pandurang Naik marg. Regarding the Dussehra rallies today in Azad Maidan some areas are going to be closed and those areas are Mahapalika Marg, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Falton Road, and Hajarimal Somani Marg.
