Rohit Sharma Is Confident To Win ICC ODI WC

This year, India is the host of the tournament. Therefore, team India is also the ultimate favorite team to win the World Cup. Not to mention, the three previous editions of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup were also won by the hosting nation, in 2011 India was the host of the tournament, in 2015 Australia hosted and won the tournament, and in 2019 England was the host and champion of the tournament. However, we can not totally ignore the immense pressure on Team India to play the World Cup at home.  Therefore, the odds are in favor of India to win the cup. But we should also hear what our team is thinking and skipper as well.

Rohit Sharma and the company are currently totally focused on their preparations and strategies to win the World Cup. His answer also depicted the ideology of the team to follow this WC. Skipper Rohit Sharma was questioned whether India have it in them to go all the distance. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma gave a very diplomatic answer to this question.

He said, “I don’t have an answer for it. How can I say that now? All I can hope is that the team is in a good space. Everybody is fit and fine. That’s all I can hope for. I cannot say beyond this. Good space is such an important factor and it’s a very key thing now,” Alongside India, defending champion England and Australia are also labeled as favorites to win the World Cup.
